Absolute training goes to Scotland
After 2 flights, a few hours in a car and some considerable amount of time in various airport lounges, we arrived at 8.30pm on Tuesday night- it was cold, wet and dark, but we were all set, full of enthusiasm and energy for the following day. All that we had left to do was track down the hire car...
We spent a day with the team from Aviemore Dental, a forward thinking practice, which is run by 2 highly motivated partners Bert and Gorden.
Surrounded with some of the most beautiful views and spectacular scenery I have ever seen,I listened to Emma inspire and motivate a room full of people. By the end of the day many new systems had been created and Bert and Gorden had a team ready and equipped to move up to the next level of customer care, working together and heading in the same positive direction.
I personally get a lot of satisfaction from attending courses with Emma. The day motivates me further to ensure that myself and the people I work with are providing everyone with first class customer service, that everyone is treated as an individual and each stage of their journey we provide at Absolute is excellent. The time away also gives me an opportunity to learn from other teams, and develop my own knowledge of the profession.
The best part of the course however is being able to interact with others and pass on the wisdom and information I have built up over the last 6 years, not only on the day but afterwards as Emma encourages the practices to stay in touch with us through follow up calls.
Below is a wonderful testimonial from Bert Hay which we received the day after the course- it made the travelling all the more worthwhile
"Following much praise from previous clients of Emma, we held high expectations for our customer care training day and I can honestly say these expectations were greatly exceeded. Emma’s enthusiasm was infectious and every one of our 15 team members were made to feel fully involved. The quality of delivery was excellent and a huge quantity of invaluable advice given. Despite having a long journey home, Emma and Felicity were more than willing to stay behind at the end of the day to problem solve with myself and management staff. This devotion to go that extra yard was very much appreciated. I would not hesitate in recommending a similar training day to colleagues. On behalf of our whole team, thank you both very much for such a fantastic and motivating day".

After such a fantastic day, another flight and 4 hours in a car, I'm happy to report that Emma and myself returned home safely without having to use our skis!
